@doveman

Could you please test this test version 1.2.5.6 if it fixes your problem with standby?

Michael

Wow, that was quick work :) I'll test it out, thanks.

Hi

Just had a chance to test this and it still shut down whilst I was browsing the EPG :(

AW: Re: PowerScheduler++ Test Version 1.2.5.5 for MP 1.2.x / 1.3 Alpha

I have seen that there is more than one place in the code where the last user activity is registered. So I added the ResetIdleTimer call to all these places. Please try it again with the new code.

Unfortunately, that prevents TVService starting, as reported https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/bugreports-74/1-2-1-cant-start-tvservice-104111/

I see you've released a 1.2.5.7 which I haven't tried yet. I will do when I have some time, hopefully you've fixed the problem that I experienced.

Re: PowerScheduler++ Test Version 1.2.5.7 for MP 1.2.x / 1.3 Alpha

Well I've tried 1.2.5.7 for myself now and it DOES have the same problem and prevents TVService working I'm afraid.

EDIT: By the way, it doesn't uninstall cleanly either and leaves TV Server config showing PowerSchedulerPlugin v1.2.2.0 under IncompatiblePlugins

I will check this as soon as possible.

I will check this too.

I just saw that you are using MP 1.2.1 - I tested all with 1.2.2. So I have an idea that both things have to do with an incompatibility between MP versions 1.2.1 and 1.2.2. But I will check this as soon as possible.

    Re: PowerScheduler++ Test Version 1.2.5.7 for MP 1.2.x / 1.3 Alpha

    Hi, using Mepo 1,2,2 in a single seat config with Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit. In the TV server config I have PS++ set to Desktop.

    I just started a live TV recording and then hit the sleep button on my keyboard. From my understanding on the wiki, in this state the PC should goto away mode (as there is an active reocrding). But my machine proceeded to go to sleep and the recording stopped. When I woke the PC a few mins later it resumed the recording then.

    Thats not supposed to happen right?

    Thanks

    Please send all logs (not only the client logs). See on first post of stable PS++ thread how to do it.

    Re: PowerScheduler++ Test Version 1.2.5.7 for MP 1.2.x / 1.3 Alpha

    Sorry about that. Logs attached.

    I basically started MePo, started a recording, left it a couple of minutes then hit the sleep button. The PC went to sleep. Prior to starting MePo I also configured the plugin to sleep after 3 minutes as a test. So once the PC had woke, I stopped the recording, stopped live TV and sat in the main menu of MePo. The PC did not go to sleep after 3 minutes either. So bascially looks like nothing is working not just the preventing sleep problem.

    I haven't changed any power settings manually after configuring the plugin, but I have just checked the power settings in the control panel and they have indeed been set to sleep after 3 minutes. I also always confirmed my changes in the plugin by pressing apply and exiting MePo config using the OK button.

    Additionally (as I saw on a previous post) powercfg /requests says at the time of writing this -

    Display None
    System None
    Awaymode None

    Thanks for the help.

    Your PowerScheduler++ server plugin is disabled, i.e. it is installed but it is not run. Just enable the PowerScheduler++ server plugin in the TV Server configuration and everything should work...
