Hi there,

i'm just curious: Your plugin isn't working in the newest builds of MP. Is there some kind of update
coming if 1.2.0 Beta is released?

Yes, it is already compatible in the lastest revisions, it just wasnt packed yet for public download. If you test MP svn builds, then you can also build tv-series yourself to test that.
Keep in mind though that there may be more core changes coming, so it may break again until 1.2 beta is officially released.

I know it's been a while but I tried to compile a version and failed. You are right in saying "someone who's able to
build mediaportal svn could also build mptvseries" but in mediaportal I don't need Visualstudio 2008.

I just use the msbuild method. Would you be so kind and provide me a compiled version for once or maybe weekly.
OtherwiseI run into the conflict of testing MP svn or explain why my gf can't see greys anymore.

Well you can do the same thing with tvseries. Or you can get a free VisualStudio version. But that wont help you either because you dont have an API key.

We don't want to get into the habit of distributing svns agains. Having non working plugins is one of the tradeoffs you have to make to use cutting edge.

That being said, if you jump into our irc chan im sure someone there could hook you up with a test binary. Just be aware that it may destroy..........oh well........im sure you what i mean

Sorry to say that but theres an mistake in your tutorial.
The free Visual Studio 2008 Express Version lack of the "add solution folder" feature. That's
only in the professional version.

You are right that Express doesn't have Solution Folders, but the guide says "the easiest way is solution folders", this implies that its not nessesaary, and indeed they aren't. You can just add the projects directly to the solution.
We could probably clarify it a bit, but we really expect some experience with VS and the way solutions work, and in that case the point above should be clear.
