Problem opening MediaPortal.sln (1 Viewer)

i get an error while opening the MediaPortal.sln in visual studio 6:
"The selected file is not a valid visual studio solutions file"

what's the problem?
i downloaded it using TurtioseCVS straight from sourceforge..
