    romuz:

don't no this for sure (but 98%), that's not a MP issue, it's an issue of the broadcaster sending wrong frame idents.

    i think so too
    just funny thing :)

ill try it with different codecs because in my opinion it may be related to codec deinterlacing

I tried with Hali splitter but still no video.
I switched back to SVN 25130 and the video is back

Thanks. Thus far, it seems to be working fine, in SD and HD. Certainly no tearing. Crucially - no dropped frames.

Same for me, if I switch off EVR then I can actually watch HD channels. With EVR on the amount of dropped frames in MP is crazy, makes it unwatchable.

Guys - any idea what is wrong or how we can resolve the issue?

I would much rather offload the processing to the GPU but can stick with VMR9 for now so I am able to watch without dropped frames.

    Setup im testing on:

    core 2 duo - 2.6ghz
    3gb ram
    512mb nvidia g210
    windows 7 ultimate x86

    Just tried the SVN 25150.

Only black screen during Live TV. Sound working OK.

Going back to SVN 25143 makes it work again.

    Using ATI 5850 with 10.2.

    Regards

    Short question:
Where do you get these SVNs?
Do you compile them your self?

SVN 25147 works also. SVN 25148 introduces this bug. If you press Escape during Live TV you can watch the SD-TV picture within the smaller window in MyTV.

You only get a black picture in full screen mode. A very small annoying bug, I hope it will be fixed soon. I really want to test the faster speed you get if the ATI flicker hack is disabled. Most Onboard-GPU users will like this. I hope also that the DScaler filter can be used again as MPEG2 decoder - this is a flicker free decoder usable for ATI users.

EDIT: I have tested a newer build svn 25174 which has the ATI hack disabled on a NVIDIA ION system with Atom 230 (Acer Revo 3600), I also have one build svn 25147 which still has the ATI hack enabled.

Strange thing is that I don't see any speed benefits with the newer svn. The speed is the same. My Revo struggles with 720P50 and 1080i-channels and is not able to deliver full 50 fps with DXVA-enabled Codecs at 1920x1080 (PowerDVD 9-codec). Only in lower resolutions it is able to give me full 50 fps. The behaviour does not have changed with the newer svn.

There is no black picture in Full-Screen on the ION-System.

    -----------------------------------------------

My problem begins this Monday when i have bought my new Samsung LCD FULL HD. On my old LCD HDReady (720p) all is working ok, but with the new resolution 1080p Mediaportal TV becomes slow with jumping DVB-T SD stream, and sometimes gets black screen or exit without any error message playing h264 HD videos (mkv), otherwise, surfing through the menus is smooth.

The problem is "solved" activating the VMR9 rendering but now all the UI interface becomes slow and the HD videos stops playing during a 1ms every x seconds. If i change the resolution to 720p, EVR works without any problem???

I have no problem playing dvb-t streams on Window 7 Media Center
