I did a quick test changing #iswatched instead of #isplayed but it doesn't work.
It seems that when selecting a video not in database a dummy imdb movie gets created with empty values including #iswatched set to "no" and it happens after getselecteditem is called so it overrides the property.

Hi Migue, thanks for finding the bug and posting a patch. However, as the previous patch was tested and approved, I moved your post to a new thread and marked it pending so it does not get lost!

I was just tinkering with a few settings in the MediaPortal configuration and am happy to have found the cause of the problem.
Disabling the option "Single seat setup: force RTSP usage" under "TV/Radio", "Advanced Options" resolved the issue.
After I disabled this option, I was able to delete the recordings the first time...

The electronic program guides (tvguide.xml) have been successfully transferred to MediaPortal.
