    PureVisionHD goes 3D!

    Hi to all,
one of our forum users (Froderik) made up some real nice GFX for BasicHome.
As I really liked that idea a decided to rework BasicHome with those GFX. So I made some of my own preferred images as well.
Benefits are instant return to BasicHome from any screen and less memory consumption (because of no multiimages are used), and a more homogeneous BasicHome with very soft fading GFX and more space for NowPlaying data.
Let me know what you think ;)

Looks much better with the menu to the left blends in better and gives you a less obscure view of the background and the backgrounds look awesome.

Just copy the content of the .rar into your PureVisionHD folder (overwrite, and don´t forget to backup your original PVHD).
Clear skin cache, and restart MP.
Have fun and ofc Merry Christmas to all you!

I installed PVHD, downloaded the Xmas-Skin files, but nothing happend

I do everything descriped what you wrote.

    Any idea about?

    :D

    Solved the problem.

The files in the folder "Animations/Xmas" should copy in the "Media/Animations" folder. :sorry:

The actual version of PVHD is not designed for latest SVN (and it is stated clearly for 1.2. Alpha) - there were significant changes in the skin engine.

Again to all users trying latest 1.2. Beta SVN: There were significant changes in skin engine and MP itself. Therefore NO plugins are working (if they not provide a version especially for 1.2. Beta SVN on their forum pages). ALL plugins have to be recopmpiled against the latest SVN.
This is the reason why I don´t release a working version of PVHD for 1.2. Beta SVN (which I have ofc), until these problems are solved (would result in a lot of complaints from your side that plugins aren´t working).
    Hope you understand ;)
