Because the known problems with inbuild weather, i think WorldWeather by micropplis will be a good solution! Could you please add support in the next release of PV?

Hey cool, I've been hoping for a skin with this sort of Home screen rather than the scrolling menu for a while now, as I think it's a lot simpler for users if they can see all the buttons at once and not have to scroll through the list to find the one they're looking for

I think perhaps it would be better if all the buttons are the same size as the TV/Videos/Music buttons though (and the images should be bigger but still leave room for two lines of text, so e.g. Online Videos would be on two lines allowing the button to be kept the same size as the others), so that as many as possible can be shown and avoid the need for sub-menus as much as possible. I don't really think it adds much to have anything other than an image and the text on each button, except for the Weather button perhaps, but then the Weather info can just be shown at the top of the screen, so that button can be kept the same size as the others as well.

It might be nice if it was possible to have a "System" button as well, which would bring up a pop-up menu with Settings, Standby, Shutdown, Close, etc rather than having to navigate "off-grid" to a button for this in the corner.

I've just installed MP1.2.1 on a test PC to check it out before upgrading my HTPC (currently on v1.1.1). In addition I did install the PureVisionHDBlue 5.0 skin.

The new version looks great (compared to 4.2) but I did find a few (minor) issues:

- The installer adds a plugin called 'Skin Info' which isn't compatible with MP1.2.1. I got a big warning screen, the plugin was disabled by MP and plugin is moved to the Incompatible Plugins section in MP Configuration.

- MyBurner is no longer a default plugin of MP121. I've installed v1.1.0.22 with MPEI, but it didn't work with PV 5.0. After changing the ID in myburner.xml from 760 to 76220 it is working again. There is still a myburner.videomod.xml missing. As a workaround I made a copy of the DefaultWide version, which solved the problem for now.

Hi to all,
did some work on the WorldWeather files and improved them with actualization time and zoomable satellite images.
The packages now include the Google logo and the necessary Layout files for direct access via the weather menu buttons.
If you made changes to your BasicHome with the Editor, you have to do them again after copying the files from the packages. This will ensure you have the correct hyperlinks in BasicHome for WorldWeather.
WorldWeather is shown as "Weather" (or the equivalent in your language) in the plugin list of the Editor.
