PureVisionHD "Reloaded 2"

Hi to all,

As you know I am redesigning PureVisionHD.
The main changes are:
* new gfx for picture frames, menu backgrounds and OSD backgrounds
* new font for the plugin/screen name
* the respective hover items replace the MP logo in the upper left corner
* a lot of small corrections in the different skin files
* increased the contrast in the thumbnail panels
* alignment of buttons and lists
* added support and redesigned Yahoo Music Videos
* added support and redesigned TVGemist v. 2.2.2b

If you like to test this one (or even use it - it´s been tested and works as expected (even with the last SVN of MP RC3) - just download the attached file.

To activate the new skin follow these instructions:

Overwrite ALL XMLs in your directory ....\PureVisionHD with the ones of PureVisionHD within the rar file.
Copy/Overwrite ALL graphic files in your directory ....\PureVisionHD\Media with the ones of Media within the rar file.
Copy the font file GOODTIME.ttf into your fonts folder ...%windir%\fonts.

Clear the MP cache.

Restart MP and enjoy!

Please let me know what you think about the new design - I intend to release it as PureVisionHD 1.8 within the next week.

Always look forward to your releases just tried this new test release, with the TV\Scheduled, i now just get a blank screen with a scrolling small window top right corner.

Love the new menu's.

das ist mit Abstand das beste Skin für Mediaportal, dass z.Zt. angeboten wird. Leider habe ich ein Poblem damit. Ich bekomme jedesmal, wenn ich MP starte die Meldung "The currently selected skin is outdated. This will cause problems when using MP! (Do NOT file bugreports using this skin)" Dazu läßt sich nur ein [Ignore and try...] Button drücken. Drücke ich den Button startet Mediaportal ganz normal. Beim nächsten Mal wiedeholt sich die Pozedur.
Was mache ich falsch oder habe ich bei der Installation etwas übersehen?

ich machs kurz, da das schon so oft hier geklärt wurde
gehe in dein skin folder. dort in den bluetwo ordner (bluetwo ist eines der default skins).
dort ist irgendwo ne datei, die heisst reference.xml oder so ähnlich.
die öffneste. da gibt nen abschnitt mit version. dort steht ne nummer drin.
die kopierst raus. jetzt gehste in den purevisonhd ornder, suchst dort dieselbe datei und änderst die versions nummer mit der aus dem bluetwo skin. kannste grad kopieren und pasten.
hoffe geholfen zu haben.

Die Meldung "outdated skin..." kommt nur bei Benutzung einer alten Version von MP (vor 1.0 RCx). Ich empfehle dringend, die neueste Version 1.0 RC3 zu installieren, dann ist der Fehler weg.

Catavolt, excellent skin, however is there any way to increase the font size in the tv descriptions? My eyes aren't as good as they used to be and the font is awful small.

just uploaded the completely re-designed PureVisionHD 2.0. I changed the version number to 2.0 to reflect the lot of changes made.

moin catavolt.

da die rc3 bei mir nicht richtig rund läuft, würde ich gerne die rc2 mit deinem skin benutzen. das problem is nur, das mediaportal rc2 mit purevision 1.7 nicht richtig läuft. wenn der rss-ticker aktiviert ist, stüzt es öfter ab.
mit abgeschaltetem ticker scheint es zu funktionieren.
gibt es vielleicht eine möglichkeit pure vission mit rss ticker und wetter-anzeige im homscreen auch unter der rc2 stabil zum laufen zu bringen?
dein neustes update habe ich noch nicht getestet, bin aber schon sehr gespannt darauf
