Hi folks,
here some screenshots of my latest development
As you can see the "IntelliMenu" went to the bottom and has now textitems for the categories.
The recently added info was moved up and to the left, the analog clock deleted, RSS to the top, weather location/condition/temperature alwas visible in upper time bar, some minor changes to the display of listviews and info windows.
In the categorie menus only installed/enabled plugins are shown.
This gives the BasicHome a very clean look, but still has the well known fast access to all MP functions.
Please let me know what you think, especially if this design should replace PureVisionHD completely or if I should release it as an extra skin - in this case we need a nice name (working title atm "New Horizon")
I will release a first test version here tomorrow

Hi

Looks good (I think I still prefer PureVisionHD Blue personally though) but perhaps it would be more intuitive if the submenus appeared underneath the Categories, as I think most people expect a top->bottom flow.

By the way, the side-menu on the Now Playing screen still doesn't work for me with the latest version of PVHD Blue!

Just tested all three NowPlaing modes (with analog/LED/none VU meters) and all three work perfect for me.
As far as I can see no other user has a problem

It's very strange. I'll try the other VU modes (was on LED).

Hi Catavolt,

I must confess that I like the current PV HD best of all skins in all regards: graphical layout, proportions, placement of the different items, fonts, colours etc (even the analog clock ).

It's really a pleasure for my eyes every time I start MP.

The new skin is for my eyes a bit too "sober" and has lost lost this "eye-pleasing" appearance for my taste.

I also agree with doveman that it's more intuitive if the submenus appeared underneath the categories-

So please keep the current PV HD skin for the fans and add the new skin as a further option.

Fantastic! For me must be the new default design for PureVisionHD.

PureVisionHD Metro

I thinks PureVisionHD Horizon can be OK

I'm trying out the metro version of this skin, but I don't see anywhere to reorganize the menus. Do I need to modify them in the xml files directly?

Unfortunately no BasicHome Editor available atm. But you may always change it in xmls directly
