Well if that works in PureVision (I did not try before posting) then all is fine and the report from doveman is false ;)

Weird, I just checked again and it's OK now but it certainly wasn't earlier and all the sites were shown in green.

    catavolt,

there's a problem with OnlineVideos in PureVisionHD Blue, where the list view shows icons but no text as shown below. If I open the sidemenu, then the text suddenly appears, but disappears again when I close it.

EDIT: Just tested with Metro and that does the same.

Hmm, I think this is related to the malfunctioning shadow function. The upcoming release will remove all shadows in list views.
Pls try the attached references.xml ;)

    Hi catavolt,
I like your new PureVisionHD Horizon(16:9) skin. But all your great skins have to little font sizes for me. Is it possible to make it bigger? The EPG site 2 lines shorter is enough for me.
The font size of MPs Default Skin is perfect for me.

    Regards

Hi Testudo, I too have severe problems with my eyes, but I can read all fonts in my skins - TBH I made them that way that I can read it well (and finally the PVHD skins do have the largest font sizes of all skins except Default skins) ;)
    But there is a solution:
Edit the fonts.xml, and put a font size higher into the fields, e.g. replace <height>15</height> with <height>16</height>.
Then clear the skin cache and restart MP.
If it still not fit your eyes, repeat the process until you are satisfied ;)

I might not have severe problems with my eyes but the focus on my CRT TV isn't great but I still find PureVisionHD fontsize fine.

The only thing I had a problem with is the date/time line at the top of the screen, so I made that a bit bigger but I probably wouldn't have needed to even do that if I had a sharper TV, like an LCD.

You have a TV with 42", my TV is 37" large and my show discance is 3-4m. ;)

:D for your fast answer. I changed the height values +1 and it is now o.k. for me.

    Hi to all,
as skinning goes on and on...
Here some infos about the upcoming versions 5.2 of the PVHD family:
    • Latest added items for TVSeries, MovingPictures, TVRecordings, MyFilms and Music are now accessible in PVHD/Blue and PVHD Metro, too. In PVHD/Blue a small nicely animated "play" arrow is shown when you can go right to access the relevant items, and the text of the focused item is highlighted green. In PVHD Metro just go down to access the items.
    • All itemcount items are now in the upper right corner aligned with the date/time line (makes the skin less cluttered).
    • When focusing the weather button in PVHD/Blue, the major current weather infos are shown in BasicHome.
    • In PVHD/Blue only installled/enabled plugins are shown on BasicHome, and the not focused buttons are dimmed a bit.
    • In PVHD Horizon the focused buttons are now rounded.
    • All lists and textboxscrollups are now without text shadow avoiding garbled/uncomplete screens.
    • Added RSS button to TV category for fast access to RSS screen.
    Hope you´ll like it ;)
