I think the reason it was all grey before was because I tried the OnePortal skin first, which is very grey, so perhaps some setting from that got stuck and carried over when I switched back to PVHD1080 until after the PC went to sleep and resumed.

You´re right, there is a bug in the reworked skin engine. But that´s what the pre-release is for: testing and finding out what´s still wrong.
BTW: If you totally switch off the genre colouring, then you should see the GFX used before when colouring was not implemented

Nope, with Coloured Genres disabled, it still shows the EPG in purple if I have Coloured Buttons disabled.

Hi,
During the last days I made some faceliftings for PVHD 1080 and included some bugfixes.
The Standard theme now looks extremely clean. Navigation: Remote/keyboard as before, Mouse: just hover over the empty space aside the icons column (MagicIntelliMenu!)
In Horizon Up! I optimized the display of the NowPlaying infos
TV-Series now shows all available media infos.
The attached ZIP files are for MP 1.3. Final and MP 1.4. Pre-release - don´t mix them up - MP won´t work if you do so!
Just drop the content of the relevant ZIP into your folder ....\skin\PureVisionHD 1080 (overwrite), clean the skin cache and restart MP.

Not sure if it's a skin issue or not but the EPG IMDB search isn't working for me anymore. It still shows the results list to choose from but then when I choose one it just goes back to the EPG.
