Now they're just playing with us :p

check the roadmap, lots of fixes are being solved last days, why would you want a rc4 full of know/fixable issues.

im sure it will be worth the waiting...

Oh it will be. I don't think anyone is saying any different Gixxer. We're just having some banter and trying to figure out Team-MEPO's next moves :p.

And now it's time to start waiting and nagging the devs about 1.0, and when that's released it's 1.0.1 :p

    Nah, great job developers!

ah... spoke too soon.. more issues have been added to the TV Server - no longer at 100% :(

    You are right.
IMHO it wouldn't be that bad to get another SVN snapshot before RC4. So many things have been fixed since last SVN that there is a good chance that on of those fixes broke something working.

It seems they did sone shuffelig, because some of the stuff that was supposed to be in RC4 was moved to 1.0 aswell. I guess they wanted to release it one of these days, but ran into some problems on other fronts.

I have to agree on at this point getting at least one more SVN snapshot before going to RC4. I got a feeling it will be another week or two before RC4 is finally ready so it wouldn't hurt to see how things are at the moment (plus to see how well things are working, find/fix more bugs, etc).

I'm just eager to get my hands on it. :) I guess I don't mind the extra wait if its to sort out a couple of critical bugs

Brief update... Hauppauge support responded quickly, stating that the "driver for all of our product confirm to the BDA format". Not sure what that means, but to test that, I downloaded a copy of Capture4Me, and indeed, it switches LNBs without any issues with minimal configuration (just set DiSEqC to 1.x A/B/C/D and select the...

100% my bad - as expected :) So, I had disabled the Windows Update service. Not a wise move, until MP all installed and working nicely. The reason it failed is because DotNetFrameworkChecker.cs looks in Registry HKLM SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\NET Framework Setup\\NDP for v4/v4.0 AND v3.5. W10 has V4.0 but not 3.5. MP installer...

Thanks guys. Ok, spent the (whole) weekend on this lol. First; TVHeadend/Kodi.... Nah. Given up on that - 'non-tech'; its horrible. 'Tech' - a few reasons but mostly that it is buggy. It is actually a real shame as it does have potential and promises a lot (was great to have Kodi on my phone and be able to watch live/recordings...

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal. Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...
