There should be a slowly flashing red dot left of the date in the upper right corner on each screen.

@ge2301 , the recording indicator is not displaying in TE. Has this not been implemented (yet) or is it a bug?

Not yet implemented, there is no notification bar yet for TE. I'll add it today and provide a patch here for TE users.

Patch, that adds recording and importing indicators to Titanium Extended Theme.
