i have a question.

i want to watch live tv on htpc with his own tuner and when i schedule something that an other mediaportal server record that program.

i want this really.

Please clearly state what HTPCs you have what software and TV tuners you are running in each.

i have a HTPC with mediaportal V1.2.2 (tv server and mediaportal)
i watch live tv on the HTPC and it works with the HDHomeRun Tuner (1Tuner for HTPC 1 Tuner for Server(mediaportal TV Server)
i want to record on the Server with the other tuner of the HDHomeRun, that works, i can record, but i want that scheduleded recordings on the HTPC that the Server record it.

i hope you understand,

I think you are saying that you want to make your HTPC wake up from sleep to make scheduled recordings.

Have you configured PowerScheduler and set your HTPC BIOS to allow wakeup events? See the wiki here: http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_...rver_Configuration/13_Plugins/Power_Scheduler

no sorry that's not what i mean,
the HTPC is only for live tv, i want if i click record in the guide on my HTPC that the SERVER(other mediaportal) record it.
so the HTPC can go off, because the server records the program.

Ok. That is how MediaPortal is supposed to work, but I think you might have to configuration wrong.

The idea is that you put your TV cards in a server. Then you have client PCs on the network which connect to the server across the LAN and can watch live TV (using TV tuner resource from the server).

yeah i know that works but the server can't decode 6 channels at ones.
so i want that the HTPC only take care about the live stream and the SERVER take care about the records of the HTPC's

(i'm now trying to do that with ForTheRecord )
