I have had exactly the same issues a few times now.

At last i am not alone with this.

No, you're not. I got the same problem from time to time.
A - somewhat strange - solution: If nothing happens when you press the OK or record button, use the menu, choose 'advanced recordings', then 'only once' and - wow - the red ball indicates that the recording has been successfully scheduled.
This might be a hint for someone who knows the internals better than I do.
(I experienced this with Titan, Default Wide und now with Streamed MP.)

May I suggest that you create a proper bug report in the 1.12 bug section, including some screenshots?

The problem is common, I am experiencing the same from time to time.Probably an internal buffer update issue. Might be easy to fix, but we need someboy with programming skills taking a look at it.

I had exactly the same issue with 1.12.
I guess this bug is not new as I found a post from a member called Crazylegs, describing a similar issue and the same exact way I used to workaround it, back in February 2012!
=> exit MP, open configuration, exit configuration, go back to mp. I saw, too, that using advanced recording was working, but only the first line is accessible in the proposed schedules.
I tried a complete deinstallation/reinstallation of mp with no success.
Then I came back to mp1.11, and it is working fine, so far.
Probably some shuffle in the thing is hiding/triggering an old hidden bug.
Fingers crossed...

Yep, so far nobody has been able to provide full log files from immediately after the problem occurred, so there's been no way to figure out what the problem is.

So I had it again wilh 1.11.0 :-(

I can reproduce it at will : try to set a record from the TV guide just after having started mp, and without live TV.
I can set any record from the TV guide if there is some live TV in the background.

I uploaded the logs.
Note that there is no error in MediaPortal-Error.log if I don't trig the bug.

I just tried this on 1.13pre and could not reproduce the your finding.

Sure,
there is probably something in my system which is consistently triggering this behavior,accross mp versions, and which is not so common.
Otherwise, I guess there would be much more people complaining.

Maybe you can find something from the logs I posted.

For my part, I hope that the workaround will work consistently as well.
