Rework DeployTool (2 Viewers)

For me, New installation need to overwrite existing installation with an option in advanced mode

Yes, I didn't spot that. This has always been a problem, doing a fresh install but if the same version is installed. Also seems to apply to a newer version.

Yep will try to see that, fresh install when 1.4.0 is installed is working but it seems not when it private build.

maybe why my issue, MP and Tv serveur are detected as 1.4 in final screen.
maybe the option new install force to reinstall MP for all version

Question :
We have lot of bad report for update installation, 80% are related to Plugins !!!
we can't have an solution for update plugins after MP installation in deploytool ?
[X] Update plugins installed (default checked in Advanced mode)

Here a fix, it was a logic error lol
In fact the logic was trigger if we change selection (upgrade / reinstall) but here (Azzuro case) we can't select other option so the fresh logic was not enable
I change it and it should work now.
Fresh installation will always do fresh installation

For testing, start full installer -> stop it -> replace by attached files in : %Temp%\MediaPortal Installation and start 'MediaPortal.DeployTool.exe'

if working now, it's missing few things, for have the better experience for user :
- Update plugins installed
- Clean Setting files ( for new install)
- re-use last setting for update ( not sure, if is not already working)
explain : if i don't use LAVF mpei, i uncheck it during the 1st install, when update Deploytool reload the last setting used, and leave LAVF unchecked.

I don't want to do full rework or not really capable to do it
About Titan / LAV, Deploytool need to look if installed (look in folder if file exist etc.) or read xml about mpei install or read mp xml. In fact i don't really know.

So, Working MP is unistalled -> installed

but i lost all my settings ,because MP is uninstalled completly, also Tvserveur database setting ! we can't add an setting for choose if we want clear setting ?

Yeah this is intended on fresh install installation (fresh is fresh/clean).
TV database should stay even MySQL server installation.

So upgrade from private build is not supported but @ least now fresh installation do a fresh installation.

I don't know how to add an option, for me keep setting is to select upgrade or re-install but it's not supported for private build.
