Well, right now, i cannot test anything in MePo, becouse MePo crash for me just after i double click on MediaPortal icon :/

    From event wiever:
    Code:
Faulting application name: MediaPortal.exe, version: 1.2.2.0, time stamp: 0x4ef0b311
Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 6.1.7601.17651, time stamp: 0x4e211319
    Exception code: 0xe0434f4d
    Fault offset: 0x0000b9bc
    Faulting process id: 0x%9
    Faulting application start time: 0x%10
    Faulting application path: %11
    Faulting module path: %12
    Report Id: %13
But if i add PDVD decoder as prefered in to MPC-HC player, it will play all VC-1 i/p with enabled DXVA just fine.
Only thing needs to be done is disable VC-1 timestamp correction in LAV splitter - it needs to be enabled if FFDshow (VMW9 decoder) is in use. That is SAF default.

Okay here is what I did after out testings. I reinstalled SAF 6.03. I know you maybe think "damn idiot, NEVER touch a running system" but I was curious. So after I reinstalled saf6 the problem was as before: vc1 but no pdvd11.

If you can send me your SAF LOGs, i can look what went wrong on your system.

One cause for the 0xe0434f4d is running .NET application from a network drive. Where did you install MP? Hard to say what else it could be, there are only few reports with that specific error code in the whole forums during years.

I tryed C:\ or E:\ - on E:\ i have all my programs installed. C: is SSD, D: and E: are two pratitions on one 800GB harddisc.
All others programs runing just fine, only MePo crashing :/

Both discs are local, not network.

Couldn’t it be set to Indeterminate (Auto) “Only enabled for decoders that rely on the splitter doing the correction”, or doesn’t it work with FFDshow?
