LOL.

I gave this a try. And it works. :) But aparently (with me) it unlocks the abililty to totally mess up my system. ghehehe.. Thats what I get when Im trying to run along with the big boys huh....
I have a LOT of possibles in the splitter section, and most of the options dont ring a bell .. Is there going to be more clarification or a default setting/recommendation?

For now I have set it up as described in the opening post And it works. :)

If you use SAF, just use lavf xxxx for everything or something similar like:

Default DirectSound Device

LAV Audio Decoder

CyberLink Video Decoder (PDVD11)

CyberLink Video Decoder (PDVD11)

LAV Audio Decoder

yes

no

Normal

CyberLink Video Decoder (PDVD11)

yes

Sure wiki will be updated :)
In fact in near patch i surely remove the selected splitter selection and add a check box only like "Use LAV Splitter if installed".
Why i added this selection it was more for testing other splitter, like for ex if we want haali, just select Haali for source splitter.
Also sometimes (i think not now) we need to have in first source filter (file sync source) and so this is why i add what filter must be use with it.

So for now, we have to set LAF Splitter in 2 choice :)
Thanks and happy to see that it works :)

    Hi
This is working for me too.
If there are defaults/wiki suggestions they will need to be different depending on processor power and gpu.
I was new to it all quite recently and it has been a bit confusing working out what I can use for my underpowered zotac nano.

    Hi Ben,
Yes you can find some infos about setup MP but to make it easier, you have to use codec that use you hardware GPU (by using DXVA2 or direct API like LAV Video is doing)
For LAV Video, you have to go in decoder setting and select the right Hardware Decoder to use (see screenshot) for your zotac nano you have to select DXVA2 (copy-back) :)
    Try and see :)
    Thanks.

    hi,
i'm testing your version since this evening and i have a question.
i've installed SAF 6.06 and i don't have the choice of DXVA2 in LAV video decoder settings.
is there a specific version to install ?
can you give me a link to find it ?
    thanks in advance.:D
