You can do this with every single xml in a skin if you'd like

Hi guys,

i've just updated to version 1.0. Everything still works fine, except the weather information that does not show up on the basichome.xml any more. The required entries are still there, but still no luck :-(

Any ideas?

Unfortunately the RSS feeder also crashes my clean install of MP1.0

Will attach logs when I get home, but disabling the plugin prevented the crashes.

In Settings->Screen Setup->Scroll Speed you can adjust the horizontal scroll speed.

Note: this will affect all text that scrolls horizontally.

It's nice seeeing the rss news, but is there any way to then look at the full article? The teasers are driving me up the wall!

This issue was driving me crazy as well.

I found this site: Pipes: Rewire the web It provides a good way to combine rss feeds. (I know there are others, but I was able to actually get this one to work).

It's fairly easy to use - and you can "publish" your feeds. I have figured out how to grab the info in the feed (not just the title). But I am still working on some other issues.

If I can get one together that works reasonably well as a general RSS feed, I will post a link to it here.

What version of the skin?
Did you enter your City in the Weather part of MP Config?
Did you copy the mprssticker to the plugin\process folder? (NOT plugin\windows)
Did you enable the mprssticker in the mediaportal -> plugins

this happened to me once, just change the weather refresh time

on another note, is there anyway to get the "feels like" temp displayed?
