    I can confirm this :)
I used Elecard to be able to watch UDP streams. After a while I got a dreaded text scrolling.... (IIRC - something annoying, anyway).

Perhaps a manual register could bypass this ?

nope, with manual registering u will have a huge watermark when u watch TV.

Hoborg, some said that DXVA for Catalyst 9.2 is still broken here.

How could you manage to make it work?

And about the Elecard MPEG2 decoder; i've worked with this decoder before. Some annoying floating "This is a demo" line will be on your screen after the trial period probably, i'm sorry for the bad news :(

I followed this page; it was a nice way to test if DXVA was working on my system (Catalys 9.1). It did work on all MKV's and bluray remux files I made.

I installed saf pack 3.43 and I am on mediaportal 1.0 final with the latest SVN version. The tvgemist plugin used to work fine but with the saf 3.43 pack I get a blank screen on every online video...

my youtube plugin and hd movies al working fine...

does anyone has a solution for this? Or has the same problem with saf 3.43 and tvgemist plugin?

First off I wanted to say that I just finished installing this pack and it works PERFECTLY for my mkv files, thank you for your excellent work! :)

I have a large collection of video files in various formats that i've acquired over the years and it seems some of the older ones don't work with this pack. Two examples are a .mov file using the cvid codec and a .avi file using the div3 codec. With everything installed MP simply reports that the video codec does not exist so the video cannot be played. I installed ffdshow in an attempt to rectify that problem and I have it coinciding with SAF without interfering with it. However ffdshow doesn't seem to work. I enabled the filter for the cvid and div3 codecs, but MP still reports those codecs as not existing.

So i'd like to be able to have SAF working with all of the common video formats and ffdshow there for the random obscure codecs that I don't encounter often so I don't have to install all of them. Is this possible right now?

Read first page of this thread how to add MOV support. Try convert your AVI file to MKV container by MKVmerge. If didn't help, split created MKV and post small example here to test.

Is SAF v3.30 still the latest version that supports MP 1.0 final?

It takes me too long to configure MP to bother always using the latest SVN.

    Yes.
