Try the SysWow64 directory, i had trouble regsvr32-ing the 32bit mpcvideodec.ax filter, then i tried sticking it in that directory and it worked.

and i agree with XP SP3 upgrade!! ;-)

I didn't found such directory (I've tried "syswow64" and "*syswow*) Maybe you have 64 architecture and you do have such directory...

Maybe it is possible to track where this "graphstudio" seeks for this dll file and stuck it there?

I'll thing hardly about upgrading to XP

With the system 32 folder open and the proppage.dll in sight, select menu run "regsvr32", now just drag the proppage.dll to the run box, should auto register.

I run Vista\xp as dualboot, and I much prefer Vista, so everyone has different opinions on this one, yes xp is lighter on resources, but with modern pc components this does not matter.

i just tried to install SAF on my System because of overlay-problems in Mediaportal (ive been directed here from support-forum).
Unfortunately my setup seems not to fit the requirements, although i didn't found these in first post. When i run Setup if SAF 3.44 i get the message ive attached.
Sorry if that was discussed here before, but even if i had the time i dont think that i will find the solution in these 116 pages (forum search gave no results).
Do i need latest SVN of Mediaportal?? If so, i will not install SAF, because i want a workin HTPC, not another testing box

And what about PowerDVDs CLVsd.ax? Ive extracted the one of PowerDVD9 explained in the bottom of first posting to C:\CLVsd.ax (Explorer shows 921KB).

My System: WinXP Pro SP3, MP 1.0, Athlon X2 5050e, AMD780G(ATI HD3200@Catalyst 9.2), 2GB

you need to install SVN!

Sorry, your plugin might be cool, but i will not install MP-SVN. Will your plugin stay "unstable" or do you plan to release it some time (i.e. will MP 1.01 fit the requirements)?

And forgot about DXVA for HD video on cat.9.2...

Do not need HD as there are no free HD-TV-Channels in germany at the moment and i do not have a BlueRay-Drive yet.

So use SAF 3.30 if you do not want to install SVN.

Something still is wrong... I got no sound at all now... Haven't I removed this old MPEG-2??

Here is my graph. As I've mentioned my problem symptoms are that I can hear sound, but I cannot see picture.

BTW I'm posting two graphs - one for Video (I get sound and picture with no problems) and one for Television (where I got these problems). I've posted *.grf and *.jpg files.

Please help me to identify the problems

As you can see, first graph is wrong. There are two MPEG2 decoders in use (double decoding).
MPC + cyberling.
You need to remove/unregister one.

BTW - SVN is not plugin, it is beta version of new MP1.0.1

But you need to repair the red ones, unlock padlock, then each filter that is highlighted in red, just delete.

Well, i have done it but nothing has changed.. now filmerit say everything is fine....

Would it be enough to remove it form MP control panel? Or should I uninstall somehow this codec from windows?
