No, i don't use SAF.

Well, you can give SAF a chance or manualy swap MS MPEG spliter with MPC-HC one.
Maybe this will solve your problem.

EDIT:
Well, honestly, i newer used rewind and FF, only jump...

Thanks a lot akajester, I´ll do what you say

Yes, install AC3 filter but configure MP just like on the first page, except add AC3filter to the PostProcessing list. Configure AC3 Filter to use SPDIF out, and make sure DTS is checked and Set DTS Padding to Auto. That should clear up bad DTS audio to your receiver. At least that's what worked for me and a few others. Good luck!

But you say to config MP just like on the first Page but:

-Adding AC3filter to the postProcessing list. ok
-Configure AC3 Filter to use SPDIF out for everything and set DTS padding to Auto, ok

three doubts:

1º ) In the first pages, in MP config (MPA decoder is set "Decoder to Speaker Stereo", (but if I am using an Amp, i should set it to SPDIF?), Please confirm this part.

2º) In MP config, Video Player (Do I have to select AC3 Filter as a MPEG /AC3 Audio Decoder or Do I leave it as MPC -MPA Decoder Filter?

3º) Once i add the AC3 Filter to the Video PostProcessing, Do I have to check it also or just Added?

Thanks a lot againg.

The only place AC3filter is "selected" is in the post processing. Basically you want MPA to be your audio decoder, but everything will run through AC3filter post processing. It'll snag the DTS content and "fix" it then. Works perfect so far! Hope that helps!

Hi I have update mediaportal to 1.0.1 and installed SAF348 and experience some problems now with the mpc codec.
A lot of videos won't play properly when using mpc as h.264 codec, i get a pop up telling video: avc audio: dts for example.

If i choose divx h.264 codec in mediaportal configuration all these files play fine, strange thing is though that when i try to play the same files
outside mediaportal all files play perfectly using the same mpc codec (even in crappy windows media player), i checked using graphedit that is was using mpc as a codec.
Anyone knows a solution for this?

Sorry, I don't have MPA set to spdif. interesting. I'll have to check this. I noticed that while watching tv last night it was an ac3 stream but it was only outputting stereo. Perhaps this option should be set to spdif too.

Do not use SAF 3.48, use older 3.47 - standalone MPC-HC filter have some problem in h.264 software decoding.

The picture on first page show where to configure audio output not how it should be configured :)

can shaders be enabled in someway using SAF?

No.

Im guessing this is a silly question, but can I just copy the CLVsd.ax from anyone that has extracted it, or do I need to go through the whole extraction process on my own machine to make the file work? If so, any reason why it isn't shared in the thread?

I have install 3.47 and still the same problems with h264. Divx and Xvid work fine with mpc codec (i've enabled those 2 in codec configuration using graphedit because i have best results with divx and xvid with mpc codec).
h264 works fine with both divx h264 and coreavc codecs.
MPC fails on every h264 (mkv) file!
