I read it that ffdshow in this SAFb10 is set up to upscale SD TV to HD, however I thought doing this broke the DVXA as it had to be applied as a postprocess

Or am I just utterly wrong here?

...and where did you read that? FFDShow is using for non DXVA material only.

I just upgraded from 4.09 to 4.11 and now GameTrailers in Onlinevideos plug, doesn't work anymore...: audio is good but video no.
Just to me?

Can you be more specific? Wich video exactly? Testing right now here and no problems...

Good question, I can't find it now... Maybe my brain made it up as I was reading it the fact you were integrating ffdshow for postprocess (and then missed the non-DVXA bit so I'll go back and hide in my hole)

Anyway, all seems to be working fine my end, hdtv as well thanks.....

Could be OnlineVideos fault. I just upgraded that plugin too (0.9.8 rev.).

If you are on XP, then GameTrailers videos are decoded by Microsoft DMO audio/video decoders - thats decodes are pard of OS and have nothing to do with SAF.

FFDshow is used on Win7 instead. I didnt found a way how to force XP to decode this WMV by FFDshow, merits didn helps here...

O.K. I checked more GameTrailers videos and just those in "New Trailers" folder doesn't work! All other runs pretty good!
