So I guess that's my point. I really don't want to patch Mediaportal in any way, and I think it is important to ensure SAF supports both what is considered the production stable version of Mediaportal as well as the latest and greatest code, even if there are things that don't quite work as perfectly as they should with respect to DXVA. I really think we need a version of SAF that gets vanilla MP 1.0.2 working as best it possibly can.

Sorry for sounding ultra conservative, and normally I'm not with these things, but nowadays WAF suffers when MP doesn't work right ;) :D

You can download all older SAF versions :)

I tried latest SAF unlocked in Win7 x86 & x64 and seems ok in all aspects. The only pain i'm suffering is with SPDIF audio.

I installed AC3Filter and the only way to make it work is as a filter. But i'm not sure whether the information Ac3filter gets is accurate or not, as another filter gets the sound from Haali and sends it to Ac3filter. Maybe Ac3filter is not getting "bitperfect" stream.

Why it can't be used standalone, not as a filter in mediaportal and with Win7???? I didn't have those issues with Windows Vista.

I have to say i managed to do so tweaking filters with some tools from doom9.org but I can't achieve it anymore. I think it has to do with mediaportal behavior, or the way it "chooses" filters.

I'm not sure on this, but i think "DIVX/XVID and tons of other formats are decoded by FFDSHOW (SAF 4.xx)" broke views in MP like zoom, original, strech mode when playing divx/xivd. It's wokring when playing a mkv file.
Didn't provide logs as you could try it yourself to confirm this? Or does this work for anyone else?

Or maybe a bug in 1.1 beta?

What's wrong? Did you install haali? Update to latest SAF? Did you assign the 512mb memory in bios to GPU? I playing them perfecly well with same setup. Are you using Hardwaredecoding? Codecs? MORE INFO!

Hoborg: Any comment for https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...2-h-264-vc-1-a-44614/index266.html#post506870 ?

    I am so sorry indeed.

Haali is installed, I have not updated to the latest SAF yet, but I will do it immediately. 512MB of memory is assigned, and the MPC-HC codec is installed and assigned for H.264 playback.

I am having major issues with stuttering, the file is unwatchable.

edit: Sorry, did not see hoborgs reply.

For some stupid reason, the release info is the same for all three movies in the boxset. I am having the same problems with all movies. For those interested, it is a Godfather Collection.

I will try to install the latest SAF pack, and upload the logs ASAP :)

Try MPCH as well? Shuttering as in MP?
