YEAH, THAT WAS PRETTY HARSH! - It's pretty much a daily question in this thread, either how do i unlock or can someone send me the unlock instructions. So it's definitely not obvious for most users.

However a simple read through the last 5-10 pages will reveal the answer multiple times.

first off all, SAF is working great for me!

But i have an strange FFDshow version number issue.
another tool says my FFDshow version is to low, or is not installed?

ive tried it with beta20 and beta21
it always says, that my ffdshow version is 3026.
here are the SAF logs:

SAF install FFDShow ver. 3130
The question is - what that tool is looking for? Maybe some registry entry? No idea...

EDIT: Version is stored here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\GNU\ffdshow\revision

Test SAF4.00beta21test2 - should be OK now.

Hi back to the problem i mentioned 1-2 pages before, it seems that all files encoded with handbrake.fr are not played with mp. I tried yesterday the new version of handbrake and this fresh encoded file was also not playing in mp (high profile in handbrake x264) . Mmh

I have followed the tutorial on the first page and most formats are playing fine but these 2 don't work

1. .mpg movies (here i get a message : can't play the movie video: avc - audio: ac3 )

2. . wmv movies (here i get the sound but i only see a green with black picture)

I have windows 7 64bit, mediaportal 1.1 + latest svf, latest version of saf (unlocked)

Anyone that has encounter the same problem or know how to fix it?

I must say otherwise it works great, it plays my other hd movies very smoothly.

1)AVC in MPG? Can you provide small sample?
2)Try to enable MS DMO decoder - START - SAF - MS DMO - enable

There is tool DSmux in START - SAF - Tools. It alows you to convert all container to MKV - this can help in some cases too.

Yup i get that message with every .mpg i want to play. How can i put a sample here never done something like that before

I enabled MS DMO decoder and it worked i can play that format now but it seems like every 5-10s i have a little lag or freeze in the picture , like it keeps hanging for a second.
DXVA isn't working and that is the thing i noticed, when dxva is working i have smooth playback of the movies, without dxva processor is around 70-80% i have those little freezes in picture.

I can't find the tool you are talking about in the tools section, only graphedit is there.

Ok , i tought i had already the last one but will check it out

For the converting stuff , can you be 100% sure dxva is working ? I mean i have some mkv that also doesn"t support it .
It has sth to do with how the movie is decode or something like that (from what i read on forums, i'm a noob in this area).
