    Hi there,

More, please see the first page for info on the unlocked version!

Hoborg.. when you say doesn't work for DVD and use FFdShow - I assume you simply mean set the codec in MP to FFdShow under the DVD section?

Many thanks for all your hard work :)

    AW: SAF v4.00beta (StandAlone Filters) - DXVA ready (MPEG2, H.264 and VC-1).

    Hi there,

I've problems playing back some AVI files, i.e., there is no audio; video works always fine.
I figured out that the problem only occurs while playing back TV-recording that have been automatically transformed by MCEBuddy into AVI (profile H.264). Other recordings that have been converted by other tools are just fine.

Attached, please find the codec information of one video-file that doesn't play back properly (Anything Else Info.txt) and the SAF logs.
I'm running MP 1.02.0 on a Win XP Prof SP3 machine (ATI onboard HD3200); the SAF version is SAF400beta23test UNLOCKED

    Cheers,

    Greg

Hi Hoborg, don't think this is codec/SAF related, but hope you or some other viewing this thread might be able to help.

I just can not get Live HDTV to play smooth. 1080p MKV's plays smooth (this is using MPC codec) but since people say this codec doesn't work with HDTV i use PowerDVD (also tried Coreavc, but that also gave me stuttering.

CPU usage is about 60% so I don't think DXVA is working..

Have a nForce 730a motherboard with onboard Geforce 8300 GPU

Any ideas what to do to also get Live HDTV to work?

I installed the new Cyberlink PDVD9 decoder v1.0.0.1105 (From HDPACK2.3) and I couldn't even get it working. MPC-HC, MediaPortal. None of them work with it.

In Media Portal it actually does initialise the decoder, but also calls PDVD8 also. I can't connect to the graph to be sure, but I'm 99% sure since it doesn't work in MPC-HC, and if I deselect DXVA in the PDVD8 properties it effects the video.

This decoder is alredy in unlocked SAF, so why do you are using HD pack?
