    Hi!
I have a little issue wit MP1.1 RC1 with SAF4.00 RC2. I think it's not a problem of SAF but maybe someone here has an solution.

My Problem: If I play an video which is in two parts and it were merged automatically into one the MP freezes.
If I switch the view to display both parts I can play them without any problems.

I hope you understand what I mean. ;)

    Thx for help!

I do not have solution for you but here is workaround:
Use MKV merge to converet AVI to MKV. Then merge the two MKV parts in one MKV file - problem solved :)

Has anyone tried to play an *.m4v file?

The movie plays fine apart from the sound is only 2 channel.

MediaInfo reports it contains two audio streams. 2 channel AAC and 6 channel AC3.

I cant seem to change audio streams in MP, WMP or MPC-HC. No matter what i do i cant get the 6 channel sound to work.

Try to m4v to MKV remux by mkvmerge...

AW: SAF v4.00 ''stable'' (StandAlone Filters) - DXVA ready (H.264 and VC-1).

    feedback,

    i am on a win7 x64 installation (AMD 64 3200+ 2gb ram). ati hd5450. yesterday's SAF4 (unlocked). mp 1.1RC1 (testet also RC2 core.dll)

so far i've NOT managed to get cyberlink codec running with HA (DXVA).

Strangely the internal ms codec works flawlessly with HA (expect the tearing).

    Cyperlink:

    720p - 90-100% CPU /no shuttering
    1080i - 100% CPU / unwatchable shuttering

    MS Codec:

    720p - 40-70% pretty good pic quality
    1080i - 70-90% sometimes tearing

    thanks for your advise
    irm

Are you sure you didnt enable DirectVobSub durning SAF install?
Open your video in SAF tool - graphstudio.
If it will be working here, the problem is in mediaportal.
BTW, similar problem few pages back...

And tearing? Are you sure you enabled vsync in catalyst? It is off by default.
