True, However something is broken between Two Worlds and SAF. I noticed I could "fix" WMP by using Video Decoder on in Microsoft DMO. It now plays stuff in WMP, but still no joy with ingame. I know its not a WMP issue but a codec issue, but I cant seem to work out which one, especially if it works fine in every external player

Try to enable MS DMO decoder - START - SAF - enable MS DMO.

You should use SAF5. SAF4 is too outdated now.

No subtitles in mkv shown

Hi,

i've a few mkv-files with pgs-format subtitles. I've tried with saf 4 (and also saf 5) installed on MP 1.1.2 but could not get any of these subtitles displayed
I then remuxed them with tsmuxer into a m2ts file and everything works fine.
Does anyone have an idea whtas wrong?

I'm having problems playing files with audio DD 2.0 in MPTV Series and Video's section. Outside MP they play well, but inside, they won't start and immediately ask for rating.

I Installed SAF 4.00 and my settings are as followed:

Video Codecs:

MPEG-2 Video decoder: FFDshow Video decoder
H.264 Video decoder: MPC - Video decoder
MPEG / AC3 audio decoder: ffdshow Audio decoder
AAC audio decoder: ffdshow Audio decoder
Audio renderer: Defeault DirectSound Device

TV- Codecs:

MPEG-2 Video decoder: FFDshow Video decoder
H.264 Video decoder: MPC - Video decoder
MPEG / AC3 audio decoder: ffdshow Audio decoder
LATM ACC audio decoder: Monogram AAC Decoder
DD+ audio decoder: ffdshow Audio decoder
Audio renderer: Defeault DirectSound Device

Any idea?

Hoborg,

I've a Onkyo HT-S3300 via HDMI (receiver DTS-HD and TrueHD capable).
I use SAF 5.0.1 unlocked and MP 1.1.3 with win7
How are you configuration for success?

TIA

Are you sure your video/audio card supports DTS-HD and TrueHD passthrough?
I think some older cards, like my ATI 4850, didn't support it. You had to decode on the PC and do multi channel to receiver.

Hi, thanks for you reply.

I have a motherboard Intel DH57JG (Corei i3 3GHz) that supports bitstream DTS-HD and DD TruHD

In older HTPC with ATI HD5450, I had the same problem. In that moment, I thought that it was a card problem (it required a power 400W, my case is 250W)
I mounted this new HTPC, but the problem remains >:-/
