OK here is a 5.00MB sample. Hope it is what you need hehe.

you'll get all sorts of goofy screen artifacts, freezing video, etc.
EXACTLY what I am seeing on a couple of my movies thru MP. Looks fine in Windows Media Player though.

thanks again

I think the file is not encoded correctly as it drops a tonne of frames on mpc-hc (though there are no artifacts). It is also a weird res which might cause problems.

Firstly, if you have PowerDVD h264 decoder in MP uninstall PowerDVD! If you have no uninstaller, install PowerDVD and uninstall it correctly. Reinstall SAF after that.
PowerDVD h264 decoder in MP should be history.

Run MP in window, start your not working video, and connect graphstudio. Chcek if your graph are similar like one from first page of this thread (if MPC-HC decoder are realy in use).

SAF 3.40b3
- cursor position changed, it is now executed directly from registry after login
- added conflict software check for "CyberLink PowerDVD 8" - only this one right now.

Hi Elvis56

Your MKV sample plays VERY VERY fine on my MediaPortal configuration (sound and video).
So before doing anything wrong with this video (reencode, etc..) check for another problem...

And note that my configuration is not a good one, but it is "clean"!
pentium IV
NVIDIA video card 5600 (old one, has not 512K!!)
1 Go RAM
SAF 250 + Haali Media and NOTHING else except Quick Time Alternative
Windows XP VMR9 enabled

I never updated SAF because everything works really fine!

    Problems with mono audio

    Hi,
I have installed SFA on a fresh Vista32 SP1 system. I only installed SFA and PowerDvD dll.
It works fine, but I have a problem with mono audio on TV - I can't hear any sound, the TV don't start or sometime starts with no sound.
Unfortenatly "Eurosports" send in mono here.
Before SFA I was using ffdshow for mono - works fine. Any solution for this problem without installing ffdshow?

And one other question, for TV, I have only MPV for h.264 now. But MPV won't work. Any solutions for this?

    Greetings Stefan

I've just installed the ATI 9.1 drivers for my X1600. So far so good, no BSOD or freezes.

The reason is that 8.5 doesn't work good in combination with my tv. The image is not fullscreen when the resolution is native.

Did you check your audio config in MP configurations? I think you can ask directly to PM team, becouse audio decoder is now part of MP installation.

About HD H.264 - no solution yet until MPC+HT and tsreader will start to work.

Just finished small video test of new Cat. 9.1
    XP:
    H264+DXVA (MPC-HC) - broken! (was working under 8.12)
    VC-1+DXVA (MPC-HC) - broken! (was working under 8.12)
MPEG2 DXVA deiterlacing broken! (was working under 8.5)
Border around video - not fixed!

So, XP user, don't even try them...
