OK, i tryed it and no problem here, playing perfectly.

Thanks for trying it. I'm left at an impass now because I cannot play the file from any of my PCs including my HTPC which should support HA. I'm actually in the process of rebuilding the HTPC with MP1 RC3, but that is not going well as I am experiencing all sorts of problems just trying to get it installed.

Hopefully once I accomplish a fresh install of MP and MPC-HC filter, my unplayable files will start working.

I can't get MPC-HC filter to work on MP, but on the MPC-HC player it works OK using hardware acceleration (DXVA) but the movement seems a little jerky as if a low frame rate was being displayed? Maybe it was not encoded quite correctly?

I didnt notice any "jerky" things...
BTW - can you again try to install SAF, start some problematic video, connect graphstudio, display all info about used filters (so file version will be displayed), make screenshot and post it here? I realy want to see it :) I realy dont understand why SAF doesnt works for you...

Meaby i will be abe to find a solution and modify SAF to fix such a problems for more users.
Here is an example:

GraphEdit (originally M$) has now many formats, for Vista guaranteed working version with Vista, download from here http://shark007.net/files/GraphEdit_x86.exe

There's also a link for a x64 version, just in case your not telling us something.
:D man!
I will try it as soon as I can.

Hmm, this version missing many usefull informations...

I am just trying MONOGRAM GraphStudio 0.2.9.0 and it is working under Vista SP1 64 (look on screenshot up).

I think I am going to reinstall this weekend or maybe sometime next week so I'll try again then if PDVD doesn't work. Are you using XP or Vista?

My HTPC is on WinXP SP3 and my PC are on Vista 64 SP1. Reinstall OS should be the last desperate thing to make problems working :)

Here is a link to a small sample. It was too large to upload here even though it is only 42 seconds.

OK, i tryed it and no problem here, playing perfectly.

Ok, I finally got MP1 RC3 installed and running with the SAF codec and Catalst 8.5, but I still cannot play my 1080p videos. I can play all 720p, but when I play any 1080p video, the picture starts breaking up after 10-20 seconds and eventually the picture just freezes... although the audio still plays. When I check the cpu utilization it sits between 5-7% for both the 720p and 1080p videos so I assume HA is working.

Some other info that may help:

All my videos are stored on a NAS device and to eliminate bandwidth issues I copied the 1080p videos to the HTPCs local drive and tested, but still experience the same results.

I am using revision 1.0 of the Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H motherboard. There is also a revision 1.1 and revision 2.0 for this same mb. Could the motherboard be faulty?

When I attempt to play any video through the MPC-HC player, all I get is audio. Video is always blank.

Any thoughts as to what my problem may be?

Thx,
Kevin

Yes, it looks like hardware faulire... Maybe damaged RAM. Did you try MemTest?
