Hi,

Please can you help ?
The instructions say "place CLVsd.ax on "C:\" root"...
I've (hopefully) extracted the relevant file from the PowerDVD package, and placed it on my root drive, but this is NOT C:\ , it's F:\
When I installed saf330.exe, CLVsd.ax was not found.
Does your application search for C:\CLVsd.ax ?
Or does this mean I extracted the wrong file from the PowerDVD package ?

Thanks.
Steve

Hello.
You need to place it to "C:\CLVsd.ax"

I would also step back through the installation instructions on the first page and then the configuration pages of MP. If the steps were followed it should work. I wonder if you have other codecs or software installed that may be conflicting? Any other dvd player software? Perhaps Powerdvd, Windvd or Nero?

I know when I installed Nero it really messed things up for me.

attached is a log file I just made

Acording to your logs, MP cannot create graph with VMR9. That is strange...
But this have nothing to do with SAF.

Try to copy test video somewhere on your local disk and not from network drive.

BTW - what catalyst version are you using?

You are using a full blown version of XP With SP3, not a stripped down one, and using a admin account I take it.

Any antivirus\antispyware that might be running, even windows firewall turned off can still be active and block some programs, so its advisable to leave it switched on and create exceptions for Mediaportal and TVServer.

i'll make exceptions in the rules now

    makes no difference at all
