Hoborg, I run SAF on other machines that I use for re-encoding videos. Any way for me to fool SAF into thinking MP is installed? :)

    Yes, but just tell me why you need SAF on "other machines" ?

    I have faster machines that I use for re-encoding videos, so I install Haali, SAF and xvid4psp. Then I re-encode my videos. It's much faster on a core 2 duo processor than my p4 htpc. :) No big deal, I just don't want an installation of MP on those computers. thanks.

    I updated to the new version of SAF and it introduced a judder in HD playback [...]

    same problem found here. sporadic judder.
    Played MKV with 24p (on LE40M86BD/Vista 32Bit/Catalyst 8.12/HD3200).

    Test older/newer MPCVideoDec.ax version today.

    deinstalled 3.40 and installed 3.30 again.
    ->No stutter anymore. :D
    Perhaps bug in new "MPCVideoDec.ax" ?

    But mkv's with DTS doesn't work anymore :confused:
    AC3 files works fine.

    OK, i understant that, but why you install SAF? To use xvid4psp, SAF is useless :)

    I thought that it used whatever codec you had installed. I had klite codec pack on that machine and I noticed that xvid4psp loaded ffdshow when I was reencoding. I figured it used SAF when that was installed. Oh well, thanks for the info.
