It looks like I understood what Mr. hoborg asked me and what should I do Should I just render any media file with this "graphstudio" and post a graph?

I have no possibilities to acces my HP laptop (i'm at work). Is this what hoborg expects (see attached two files - I've made it with my another pc) to get from me in order to help me solve this "no TV" problem?

Should I post *.jpg or *.grf?

Run MP in window mode.
Play not working media (TV or video file), pause it and connect graphstudio.
Create screenshot and post it here.

Sorry for being not so smart... Maybe you could give me some links to these writen "x times" about this thread? I do not understand how do I connect this graphstudio to paused MP... I make "file>connect to remote graph" - I do find something there but when I click "connect" it just doesn't react in any way... What I did is just file>render media file and got this graph (see attached)...

Reinstall Haali splitter and SAF, then try it again. If you don't get a graph at all something else is wrong. Do you have other codecs installed that you can remove?

I've downloaded this "graphstudio", but how do I use it? I didn't find this info on this forum (there almost no any help in this aplication as well..)

1)open graphstudio
2)start MP and start playing a movie
3)Now switch to graphstudio -> File -> Connect to Remote Graph... you should see the graph MP is using for that movie

H, i for the first time wantet to use the sub's on a Mkv file, but its not working, but i installed and said yes to sub's..
ive have try several mkv files but non work?? is it just me or??

With DXVA enabled you won't get subs. This feature is being worked on and will be included in MP 1.0.2 release.

Note: You can make it work now but it's not part of the initial install.

Did you put them inside MKV?

How to configure the PDVD 9 codec?

How do I configure the PDVD 9 codec? Use if for TV, but i doesn't show up in MP configuration (directshow part) (PDVD8 did) so I'm unable to turn off HW acceleration.

Any tips?

You will find a Cyberlink folder in the registry, theres an option for DXVA with a 1 or a 0. 1 is enabled, 0 is disabled.

Connecting to the remote graph doesn't work in vista out of the box, they moved the option out of Quartz.dll which was included in XP into a seperate DLL that wasn't included in vista. You will need to find a copy of proppage.dll and register that.

Hi... why after SAF installation if i chose a specific codec (as coreavc..) mediaportal choose what it wants? Merit are disabled in the configuration but, anyway if i try a *.mkv instead to use mpc or coreavc mediaportal use ffdshow.
....

If the filetype is set to enabled under ffdshows video\codec setting, then that will be used by default, just disable the ones you do not want ffdshow to play.

i already try this.... if i disabled h.264 in ffdshow then mediaportal use mpc, but not i choose from configuration....
