Hi all,

I used one codec pack in my Mediaportal until I discovered the SAF. I would like to thank the excellent work done.:D
I installed SAF 3.47 in my Mediaportal on Windows Vista and everything is working well. The only problem that I have is, when I use Windows Media Player the subtitles don’t appear.
What Is missing?

Thanks in advance

SAF is for MP only.
BTW - if you want good player, use MPC-HC, WMP is ...ehm... crap.

no success with the SAF

After a Clean intall of MediaPortal 1.01 with its SAF 3.47, Video is ok, but DTS Tracks on movies is very bad like a tunner station bad tunned. DD tracks are ok.

I can not check it with other player because it the only one i installed.

Vista32 SP1
GA 78gm s2h
ATI hd 3200 on board
SPDIF to the Amp.

MediaPortal Config set to SPDIF (in the 1ºst Post it´s sayd that "audio output" Set to Stereo, not to SPDIF,).

Do i have to leave it as the image of the 1st Post? o set to SPDIF?

PD. Sorry for my english. Any help, please.

You might want to try adding AC3Filter to your setup in order to get proper DTS decoding over SPDIF. Check a few pages earlier in this thread, several people were talking about this exact thing.

If there are no subtitles wich blocking DXVA, then yes.

3D settings -> Wait for vertical refresh -> Always ON

Actually MediaPortal will always use application based v-sync as enabled. Unless there is either buggy drivers involved or user has forced the v-sync to be disabed in the driver settings.
