i got a mkv file, Sin city to be exact, when viewing in MPC-HC says not using DXVA, do i have to re-encode it so it does use DXVA
If there are no subtitles wich blocking DXVA, then yes.

After a Clean intall of MediaPortal 1.01 with its SAF 3.47, Video is ok, but DTS Tracks on movies is very bad like a tunner station bad tunned. DD tracks are ok.
I can not check it with other player because it the only one i installed.
Vista32 SP1
GA 78gm s2h
ATI hd 3200 on board
SPDIF to the Amp.
MediaPortal Config set to SPDIF (in the 1ºst Post it´s sayd that "audio output" Set to Stereo, not to SPDIF,).
Do i have to leave it as the image of the 1st Post? o set to SPDIF?
PD. Sorry for my english. Any help, please.

Can you explain it better? Subtitles block DXVA? Internal(MKV embedded)/external subtitles?
Thanks

Yes, exactly.
All subtitles kill DXVA until MPC-HC subtitle engine will be integratet in to MP.
So lets wait.
Thanks for your answer.
I have an additional question:
There any way to configure things like sharpen, de-noise and other post-processing stuff?
Thanks again.
can mp4 use DXVA hoborg, i was just watchin shawshank redemption, and its a mp4 according to MPC its using DXVA?
i remember reading somewhere on this article it had to be renamed to mkv before it would use DXVA
