Sorry but you're last beta 11 and 12 pack was so bad for me... FLV wont play. senso h262 and mp3 codec fault.

h264 are trash.... Video stuckering, Bad Sound. Both run with Beta8 without problems. No 1080P runs right and 1080i too... Whats happen?

There is problem with MPC-HC software decoding: SourceForge.net: MPC - Homecinema: Detail: 2799393 - MPCVideoDec.ax - Extremly slow software decoding
Should be fixed in ver.1156, but it is not.

Post SAF.log,MP logs and FLV sample, i have no problem to play them at all (local + streams) Maybe HD in FLV can be problem, but i have no such example available...

i have been browsing the Mediaportal site for ages and came across this thread and it sounded very interesting!!
I just can't seem to find out whether i would be able to use SAF or not?
Do you need to have DXVA to be able to use SAF?
I watch Standard def TV but my TV upscales to 720p, can i still use SAF?
If i did watch a Highdef (720p or 1080) video, would SAF work for me?

Sorry about all the questions, i have just managed to get MP 1.0.2 up and running (just very slow on navigating around MP) and i don't want to install something that is not really going to work for my setup.

Well, if you are happy with your curent config, and all is working for you, do not touch it
SAF of course working without DXVA.
HD video will be working for you, but i doubt P4 2.4GHz will be enought for FullHD in SW mode...

Wouldn't say i am happy with my current config, i have just managed to get the MYTV working, so i still need to mess around with ffdshow (what i currently have) to get better picture but if i can SAF to do the same thing that ffdshow do, that would be great! SAF sounds like it would be easier to get installed as well!

Well, question is if your old ATI handle MPEG2 DXVA with PDVD MPEG2 decoder. If yes, your SD TV will be looking great.

Limitations: 30 day working trial. (for applicaton, not codec). yes legal i guess. havn't read the instal "notes".

I thought the latest builds of PDVD8 & 9 didn't allow you to select the codec in MP Configuration?
