Hello. Whether it is possible to clean check of installation Mediaportal or to make its disconnected? Your set of decoders very is pleasant, and it would be desirable it to use and on the working computer.

Hmm, it look like i finaly found a way how to fully "suports" MOV files. New and modern MOV (with h.264) is not problem, but problems are MOV from digital cameras with not standart audio/video, like i-law audio format, etc... Another problem was to not broke MOV DXVA support. Now all is solved (at last all MOV examples i have is working) and will be added to next SAF version. This need more software combination (SAF+QT alternative+MediaLook QT source).

Wasn't QT alternative declared as illegal by Apple? if this is the case, then we cannot host such files on our site.

No, no, i didn't integrate anything from QTalternative/Medialook in to SAF, SAF only configure system to work corectly with this software :)

I've installed Saf 4.00 beta 3 but noway: if I try to play some movie files (HD or SD), MP crash and go to desktop...
Saf 3.49 beta 24 works good...
Log files in attachement

If MP crash, include MP logs too.

Here it is

Check "error.log", there are some problems i think, but rest seems to be OK. No idea then :/
Try to disable MPC-HC DXVA thrue START - SAF options.

Try to disable MPC-HC DXVA thrue START - SAF options.
But It's the first thing I've done including to remove CLVsd file (I'm not interested to HW acceleration, It cause a lot of problem with many file and subtitles), but nothing changhed...
It's anythig can I do?
It's so strange I'm the only one with this problem an just with Saf 4.xx and not with Saf 3.xx...
Anyway with Saf 3.xx OnlineVideos plugin works good, exept with Apple Trilers ("Audio codec" error). But in another thread, It's reported that's an Apple site fault and not a codec or plugin problem. May U confirm that?

You can try to replace "MPCVideoDec.ax" from old SAF version, this file was updated too in SAF4.xx

i've installed beta03 (happens also with beta02) but when i try to configure FFSShow i get an error:
    Error while loading ffdshow.ax
    The module was not found.

Message was in german i translated the message myself to english. (I'm using windows vista 64bit)

    EDIT:
OK this problem is related to the link you create under programs:
Is´t has to be C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ instead of C:\Windows\system32\

So this makes SAF more complex, not a easy solution i think. I order to get everything playing well you need a hell lot of codecs. So we need to install to more codec packs, hmm. Is this really the solution to mov files? :( Most things worked fine in 3.xx, now ffdshow is added, but also to more codecs are needed...

Thank you veyr much for making this.
