About medialook plugin - this files are exactly the same...

BTW, there is no "lite" version available anymore...

No lite version. What about this page then QT Lite

Did you read it somewhere?

You are right, i miss that...

BUT:
"QT Lite is a trimmed down version of QuickTime that contains only the essential components needed for playing QuickTime content that is embedded in web pages."

Here is new SAF 4.00 beta05

Changelog

Acording MPC-HC changelog, there was some ac3 fixes "Fixed : broken AC3 with SPDIF"
?Can be related to "Use AC3 decoder in MP post processing"?

    Check if DVXA is working?

    Hi Folks,

Is there anyway that I can check that the GPU is actually doing the work instedad of the CPU?

I find it hard to belive that the CPU should run at 60% showing FTA BBC World News on 1West?

    Thanks in advance.

If you use Graphstudio while watchin TV some codecs will tell you if you run DXVA. 60% CPU suggest that you're not.

Can I just ask, does what is installed by SAF have anything to do with MPC-HC, what I mean by that is, if I tick or disable any filter settings in MPCHC, does this affect MP in any way, and vice versa?

Also I'm finding some weird problem, I'm using latest SAF4beta05 and mp1.1alpha.

Im getting the following error on some .mkv files:
    unable to play
    video codec: V_MPEG4/ISO/AVC
    audio codec: AC3

The roughly 10 videos I tried playing, they all do have ac3, whereas very similar mkv files with dts play fine.
But the weird thing is, one of those 10 videos actually played fine.
These are the details of two:

This one played fine in MP:

(sorry didn't know how to make paste it aligned)

I don't see any difference between the two??

Im using haali, pdvd mpeg2 decoder, and everything left as saf has installed (I only changed h264 to cyberlink because of the MPC+dvxa haali problem).

    Hoborg,

Could you update the MPADecFilter.ax to latest revision (1249).? This one fixed my issue with SPDIF crashing on some mkv files.

    TNX!

Try update drivers to last available, use MPC-HC video decoder.

PDVD7.3 is last one supported HDDVD. Lot of people get this version for free by buying DVD/BlueRay drive, camcorder or whole new PC.
I personaly didn see any reason to use new version to combine with MP for BluRay/HDDVD support.

You can combine PDVD8/9 with SAF - install PDVD first, then SAF - but it is untested...
BTW, remember, Cyberlink disable in latest PDVD8/9 usage of thier h.264 decoder in other applications...

Hoborg, which drivers are you referring too, video?

I have latest CAT drivers installed, also the error I'm getting with the mkv files I posted earlier, happens with SAF4b4 and saf4b5, also with h264 decoder set to MPC or Cyberlink.
But the MPC decoder not only gives me the error, but also has the haali/mem usage bug.

Then post video sample please (use MKV merge to split).
I believe "haali/mem usage bug" is not MPC-HC problem, becouse i was olny able to reproduce it in MP (not in GB-PVR or MPC-HC player with same graph in use.)
