at first i will thx all active members of this forum for there great work on MP!

Now my question:

I have the same problem as whit27. I want to use Powerdvd8 to look Blue-ray on my HTPC (with the HD_Starter plugin), because i have license for Powerdvd8.

So, can i use my PDVD8 for SAF? Is this the same as "unlock"?
I have also problems to look Live HDTV. I thing it is a codec problem, because i can't play mp4 after installing Haalil splitter, SAF and then PDVD8? What is wrong?

Reinstall SAF (PDVD8 MP4 splitter problem i think - one of reason why PDVD sould be uninstalled...)Remember, you must install SAF as last one.

BTW, Power DVD is one of most messy "codec pack" i ever seen. Install 100+ filters, after uninstall leave totally mess in registry and background running rervice (RichVideo) as bonus...

Yes, but install SAF4.00beta20 and install SAF as last one.

Which catalyst version should I install? In ATI web I can only found 9.1: Drivers & Support | GAME.AMD.COM

I have installed Cat.9.9 on my HTPC (WinXP, ATI 4550) and all is working fine, on my working PC i have Win7x64, Cat. 9.11 and ATI 4770 and no problem too.

But i have Problems to play films from a video_ts folder.
I copy the video_ts folder of my dvds on the htpc and look at the films about "my videos".
But the film "ruckelt" ( i dont now the word in english - jerk? -), but not the audio.
when i open a bluray-mkv it work perfectly. What is the Problem.

I am using winxp sp3, mP 1.1.0 Beta and SAF beta19.
its unlock und i do the settings like you say.

You mean DVD riped to local disk?
firstly, you should rip DVD using some good software (like AnyDVD, etc.) to remove protections.
Then you should be able to play such rip like standard DVD (with menus, etc) in MP.
