What's the difference between EVR custom and VMR9 renderless? I got terrible audio delay with VMR9 renderless. Played around abit and changed to EVR custom and it' gone. I also get the feeling that image quality got up a notch... I got some tearing on some .mkvs and ticked alternative vync and now it's gone to...

Some files are unplayable though... error msg saying "audio codec:"

Rule:
WinXP: VMR9
Vista/Vin7: EVR

EVR and custom EVR don't need Vista. All u need is Framework installed. custom EVR runs awesome for me. Picture quality is perfect and audio sync through hole movie is perfect!

Some .mkv's with DTS work fine but on some I get error msg with the file name and then the text "audio codec:"

I also get some error msg saying something about URT (?)

If you not follow above rule, you will not get DXVA at all.

    Hi,

Does SAF support multiple language streams selection when audio is mp3? I have no issues with Dolby Digital, but multiple mp3 files play simultaneously on top of each other. :(

    Great work!

DXVA working and it's correct it only works with VMR9 renderless for me. L4.1 works ofcourse not L5.1.

I don't watch many DVD's but today I was setting up the auto refreshrate and to test I inserted a PAL DVD... Mediaportal asks if I want to play it I chose YES and then.. NOTHING happens. What is up with that?

Also.. on some .mkv files I get the two following error messages...

    "mkx
a decoder for the new track could not be found
    track type: ASS"

I just press "OK" and I get

    "mkx
a decoder for the new track could not be found
    track type: SRT/UTF-8"

I press "OK" and movie starts without any problem, both audio and video works fine..

Also on a few .mkv's with DTS soundtrack (not all, some works fine) I get a mediaportal box with an error msg saying "Following file cannot be played" followed by "Audio Codec:"

Would you mind to go into a little more detail or provide me with a link for that? I would really like to do that. Because i have my bluray rips already prepared for that as a mkv with subtitles but cant show them ;)

    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...48/integration-mpc-hc-subtitles-engine-54130/

Overwrite existing files with files contained in this archieve
    mpc-subs-engine-binaries-mp-1.0.2.rar
You should back up the originals in case you have problems.

Thanks! I Will try that soon! :)

It really works like a charm! MPC-HC subtitle engine in MP 1.0.2... so great! Now i can finally use my ripped bluray subtitles i have included in my mkv's :)!!

Where can be the problem then?
    Windows XP sp3
    Gigabyte ma69
    ATI HD4650

    Thanks

    OK.
Use MKV merge and create small video sample and try it - it is working? If not, post it here.

    Yes.
It is controled by haali splitter and you can switch between them from MP.

You need to use latest MP builds with intehrated MPC-HC subtitle engine and durning SAF install do not install DirectVobSub.
Please, provide video sample you cant play (Audio Codec error). - use MKV merge to split

hoborg: (re: mascot) If he doesn't want to use latest MP build, can't he just use the prebuilt binaries for MP1.0.2 MPC-HC subtitle engine, is that compatible with latest saf?
