Re: SAF v4.00beta (StandAlone Filters) - DXVA ready (MPEG2, H.264 and VC-1).

Hi Hoborg,

I've installed a fresh copy of Win7 32bit. After installing mediaportal, i unlocked SAF, but SAF installation halts in "Unpacking" screen. I'm sorry if this is a known issue, i searched but coudnt find it.

Appreciate any help,

Nike.

Not, it is not. I have no idea what can cause it, i newer hit similar issue...

Just a minor conflict, but after installing SAF you can't run Windows Experience Index - crashing on assessing Video Decoding Performance. I have tracked it down to it not being able to play %systemroot%\Performance\WinSAT\Clip_1080_5sec_MPEG2_HD_15mbps.mpg. This file also doesn't play in Media Player or MPC. After uninstalling SAF all is good again. I presume SAF must interfere with the codec needed to play this file. This behaviour occurs on all 3 computers I own.

That also happens to my PC; can't run Experiance index W7 after installing SAF; when i uninstall then i can run the index.

No, subtitles are supported by MP.

    EDIT:
...but you can try to click yes to install direct vob sub durning SAF install.
This will enable subtitles, but kill DXVA for videos with subtitles.
