I have a problem that video is delayed in TV when using AC3 track. With mpeg audio track it is perfectly synchronized.
With bluray, h264 content and DTS or AC3 (dolby digital) it is synchronized.
As it is only the AC3 track being too early, and this only in TV (and TV recordings) I don't think my hardware is too poor.
I tried ac3filter, ffdshow, PDVD, MPA, ... codecs.

Do you have any clue?

From the changelog. Is this correct for vesion beta 23 test 6? "ALL - FFDShow updated to rev.3254" Its the same rev. no as before.

Just a Newbie saying thank you,

after two long and painful weeks of fighting with my HTPC setup and various audio problems I finally installed hoborg's SAF and what can I say - all my problems just disappeared. My system now works just like a charme.

hoborg: Thanks for your PM and your support and many many thanks for all the effort you put into this. This thread is worth gold when you are taking your first steps in MP and want to get it working straight away - if only I'd have found it sooner

Hi Hoborg,

Well I finally took the plunge and upgraded my production 1.0.2 system with SAF beta23 test5 last night. Followed the same procedure I outlined before to use DriverCleaner.net to get rid of all previous ATI driver traces on my test system. The results in Live TV and DVD were simply stunning. I was using PDVD 7 with no DXVA for Mpeg 2 before. I think I had two very badly messed up systems with ATI drivers, as both had no de-interlacing when DXVA was used, until I hit them with DriverCleaner and re-installed everything. I know we probably shouldn't shamelessly promote commercial products here, but it might be worth recommending this on the first page for anyone who regularly updates video drivers.

One minor problem. TedTalks appears completely broken with this version on SAF - both on my 1.1 Beta test system and the 1.0 production system. Running latest OnlineVideos. There's few other bits and pieces broken in Online Videos now, but I think some of it due to URL's changing. TedTalks was different because it just seemed to completely lock - have to crash MP. Download the video and play it ok, so it's a stream problem.

Hmmmmm looks like it's actually dowloading the video to play it. Thought I'd just wait a few minutes, and all of a sudden it played after 3 minutes

No graph during lock - see edit above - eventually played. I'd say its an online videos problem.

I'm pretty sure there is also good driver cleaner software that is not commercial.

I get 16-18 fps when watching HDTV channels. have tried to record a show, and it's the same when trying to play the recording. But if I open the recording in windows mediaplayer outside MP it plays perfect. Tried PDVD9 and CoreAVC decoder, both with the same result. Have had this problem no matter witch SVN release I've used

Any ideas to what causes this?
