Does anyone know why I can't play MP2 files with MPC-HC?

ffdshow is set to libavcodec for MP1,MP2, so I don't know what else could be the problem.

    Here you go.

I tried making a sample with mp3DirectCut and the mpglib.dll, but the resulting output was actually playable in MPC-HC, so it must have done something to it.

I made the attached sample with mpgtx and it's just as unplayable as the original file, so it doesn't look like it's changed it at all. It loads and plays fine in mp3DirectCut though, so perhaps mpglib.dll accomodates more variations of mp2 than ffdshow.

    Hi Hoborg,

My system is running smooth on 4.0, but im watching HD livetv and there is 1 channel who is hicking with the default win7 codec. When im using coreavc 2.0, its running smooth. But the other channels will give some hickups then.

So my question is: Is it possible to use a different codec for that particulair channel?
