Heads up, Bluray playback in this svn is broken due to something in ffdshow.

Changing h.264/AVC from ffmpeg-mt in ffdshow videoconfig. to disabled allowed ffdshow DVAX to be used instead of nonDVAX. But playing it with 70% use

After i've installed this saf codec, all work fine in MP but unfortunately this codec broken my Adobe Premiere CS4 MainConcept(Adobe2) codecs.


So, i can't acquire videos from my DV with premiere...why?
Saf uninstall that codecs?
Is possible to solve this problem?

Sorry, but what is MainConcept(Adobe2) codecs and for what they are use for? (newer heard about them before).

yes everything seems to work when ffmpeg-mt is disabled and the checking of number of reference frames in ffdshow DVAX. Load is about 20-30%. 60% due the OSD. Load is about 7% lower with MPC-HC DVAS codec.

Adobe use its own codecs MainConcept(Adobe2) H264/MPEG/AAC...etc.. after installation of SAf these codecs is always present in registry but it is broken...file server link is deleted and so unutilizable...filtermerit sign they like broken....

These are the codecs used by Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 to make encoding and/or decoding of file a/v and so to acquire video from dv and hdv cameras.
In my case all ok before saf...when i use the monitor to acquire video from my dv camera the video appear and the audio go on.
After saf, the monitor in acquire window don't appear and when i move the mouse to other window opened the acquire phase stopped and at the bottom i'll see the ffdshow icon disappear.
I've try to set ffdshow to not use whit adobe .exe process but nothing.

My OS is Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium.

So.. is disappear in the win registry the link to file *.ax or *.dll of directshow filter (like mismatch uninstall process).

Try adobe premiere pro cs4 trial download.

It is possible that CLSIDs used by Adobe was "blacklisted" in SAF...
So please try today SAF build - but you will need to reinstall Adobe software or re-register thier *.ax files first.
Please report result.

ok..i've to reinstall the adobe pgm....yesterday i've uninstalled it!?!?




...i'll do that...
- uninstall saf
- reinstall all adobe pgm and try all ok
- reinstall saf (new svn) and try if the problem go away...

luckyaua Probably not a good idea to run a Video editing suite (particularly something as heavy as Adobe) on the same machine as your HTPC. These editing suites install a lot of additional codecs.
