    Hi Hoborg,

thank you very much for investigating. Unfortunately changing to default audio renderer doesn't fix it. I tried additionally to change my default device to the spdif output, that didn't help either. I attach some new logs, maybe you have some more ideas. I'd appreciate your help very much although it is not saf related.

BTW, are you using Online video plugin to play apple trailers?

    Hey Hoborg!
I did not until now but I tried immediately after reading your post and it works fine! So it looks like Trailer plugin is doing the harm!?

Apparently it is. I don't care as I know now that I can access the trailers via onlinevideos. I uninstalled trailer plugin already.
Thanks again for your help :)

    hi hoborg,

i got a great problem with vc-1 files. actually i have only one vc-1 encoded movie. it's "horsemen". i think it's 1080p. whatever i do the movie stutters. the sound is ok. then i tried yout saf5 testbuild and for the first time ever the movie was ok. but it had a green line on the bottom. sometimes after playing and stopping and playing again this line disappeared. graphedit told me that mp was using a cyberlink codec for this vc-1 file. now i've just updated to your newest version from sept., 6th i the stutters are back again. no caberlink codec anymore. it's either using ffdshow (not dxva) or, if i deactivate vc-1 decoding in ffdshow it's using this windows dmo codec.
am i doing something wrong or do i have to downgrade to your testbuild again? will you include this cayberlink codec to your upcoming releases?

what i don't understand is why it has never worked with saf 5 because it is 1080p. and that should work with ffdshow, too should'nt it.
