I did not know I could do single transponder scan. I have not be using scan at all since I use your import method. It's much cleaner and I don't want to mess it up.

I actually just managed to get Sport1 US HD working by adding tuning details manually as published there:
http://www.sky.de/web/cms/de/kundencenter-hilfe-installation-transponder-sat.jsp

This was the not working tuning details

I had to change it as follow:

Now the information that are not published on that Sky web page are:
NetworkID
ServiceID
PMT PID
Provider (this one could be guessed here)

Where do you get those information from?
I'm guessing Sport1 US HD1 has another Service ID cause on the Sky web page it's exactly the same tuning as Sport1 US HD.

As you can see in the following list, the PMT PID matches to Eurosport 2 HD, but the Service ID is wrong. It should be '109'. Do you have Eurosport 2 HD working in your channel list?

Where do you get those information from?

If I'm looking for one special frequency I allways search on www.Kingofsat.net

Thanks for the link! That's exactly what I was looking for.

I just checked there http://en.kingofsat.net/pos-19.2E.php and ServiceID for Sport1 US HD is 119. This channel is working fine for me which I doubt it would if the ServiceID was wrong.

KingOfSat is good but it seems rather incomplete.
For instance I could not find the following channels from Sky Germany list:
E! Entertainment HD
ESPN America HD
Sport1 US HD1

Could it be the the Sky sender list is not up to date?

I think you missunderstood my posting. I was talking about tuningdetails from your first pic.
The second one is allright and the correct frequency for Sport1 US HD.

- E! Entertainment HD ---> actually it's called E! HD Enterainment on kingofsat. For details just look in my posted pic above your comment.
- ESPN America HD ---> this channel dosen't broadcast any more. It was replaced by Sport1 US HD.
- Sport1 US HD1 ---> You'r right, the information for the feed is missing but it's on the same transonder as the main channel. When I be back at home
I'll upload the detailed frequency.

I'm not quite clear where the Provider field is to be found but I guess for most Sky channels it should be SKY. I did try leaving the Provider field empty and it failed to tune the channel so it looks like it's mandatory.

So in theory one should be able to generate MediaPortal TV server XML settings for Sky Germany by parsing the following web pages:

Maybe one of these days I'll get around scripting that...

In my opinion there is no disadvantage if you leave 'provider' field empty. As far as I know it's only for your information to recognize the right channel after a scan if there are multiple channels with same name on different provider platforms.

Which failed on your tuning try?

Ok that's strange cause I swear it would not tune without the provider. I'll try that again.
