But, but, but you're the lead developer, you can't be baffled, you should just be fixing thingsHi again Mars Warrior
To be completely honest I am baffled.![]()
That's at least good to know. And it should of course, as DVBLink and DVBViewer work OOB!Just last week (Friday 23 Sept) I purchased an S480 for MediaPortal testing and support. It arrived on Friday and I've been testing it for the past hour or so. It works perfectly with my EMP Centauri 9x8 multiswitch. I know there are three major differences in our setups (2 x S470 vs. S480, multytenne dish vs. multiswitch, W7 vs. XP) but at least my testing tells me that MediaPortal *does* support DiSEqC switching with TeVii tuners.
a. Yes, I do have the twin output dish. One output per tunera. I guess my next question would be how have you connected the two tuners to the dish - have you got the twin output dish?
b. Have you tried testing with the second tuner?
c. Why are you using the DVBS network provider (best to use the generic one for the moment I think)?
b. Yes, I did at first, but not in the test I send you this morning. Will do the same again with the second tuner
c. I did use the generic at first, but found the DVBS hint on the forum in case of scanning problems...
Never used manual tuning before, but will give it a try together with testing the second tuner after I'm done with cutting down the tree in the garden and didn't fall of the ladder in a way I can't use my head & hands anymoreWhat happens if you just test with a single transponder - try pick something with a different FEC rate (I can't test 5/6 here, only 3/4 and 2/3):
Frequency = 11307000
SR = 27500
Polarisation = Vertical
Modulation = Not Set
Inner FEC Rate = Not Set (or 2/3)
*DVB-S2 scanning disabled*
Try both of the tuners and each of the DiSEqC settings with the original 1.2.1 TVLibrary.dll. If that doesn't work we'll have to contact TeVii support about this issue as I don't have any further ideas at this point...
