Hello.
When i have "movie.jpg" and "bakcdrop.jpg" in my movie folder, the MoPi will make a copy of that images in the folder of the database?

It makes copy's of them in the "thumbs" folder its the the same place as the database folder is.

All the covers, backgrounds, and all the banners, and episodes for tvseries are all stored there.

But why copy there, if there is already in the movie folder?

It does this to load the pictures faster. For instance my covers and backdrops are all in my movie folders which are on my server so when the movie is highlighted it has to get the cover and load it from the server, its alot faster to just have it locally. Also this makes it easier for people that use offline drives like external usb drives or some people catalog there dvd collection and just insert the disc when decided which movie to play. For you case it might be better not to but to cover all needs I think this is the best way.

Is there some sort of problem your having with them like this?
