hello!How can I scan the analogue channels(italy)?I have hauppauge hvr 110.thanks

go to configuration --> Television --< Capture Cards --<Add> select your card and click on edit

in the new windows you#ll surely find what you need, i have no analogue card but an DVB-S one, nevertheless i'm sure theres also an autotune tab or something similar...

The last time I tried to scan analog channels in italy, it totally failed. So I had to write the channels numbers found by wintv and put those one by one into mediaportal (after the appropriate translation taken from http://www.mitan.info/util/canali-frequenze.html, this was already described in another post). Or you could use the tuning assistant of gbpvr which worked for me and gives channels/frequency settings.

I did that when I installed mp long time ago so I really don't remember, but yes the portante video should be the right one. BTW if you can read italian, there's the italian mediaportal forum with threads on this issue. In particular http://forum.hw-vault.com/index.php?showtopic=5138&st=0
