OK, Its working now:)
I did try re-entering my username and password a few times even before posting here. This morning I re-entered the info yet again and then it worked. I can't see how I would have made a mistake with the username or password that many times.:oops:
Anyhow, all is fine now. Thanks for the help and thanks for the work on the plug-in.

I do, however, have an issue. I install the plugin, clear my channels, and do an autotune. next time I start up MP, it does a lookup and I get EPG info, and everything works great. my problem is, though, that after a day or so, all the channels get duplicated, but in the EPG it says "No data available" for all the new duplicates.

If i delete the duplicated channels, they just come back. I can create a group that excludes all these channels, but that seems like a hack.

any ideas?

Hi,

I have been away for a few days so just saw your message.

That is very strange and I have not seen that before.
The only thing I can think of off hand is a problem with mapping getting
screwed up causing new channel to be created.
Make sure you are not also using one of the other EPG update methods
at the same time as this could easily mess up mappings for both.

If it happens again, can you post your epg.log file after a "duplicate" update?

well, i removed the zap2it plugin. i'll have to double-check and make sure xmltv isn't running. i'd be pretty embarasssed if that's what it was... :oops:

i'll check tonight and see if there's an epg.log you can use.

Hello, I'm trying to get the plugin to work but can't. using TVE3. I've cleared all the channels, performed a scan, stop/start tvservice, enable plugin. I get the following error :

Hi,

Been away for a couple of days.

Strange.
I can try to reproduce but have a couple of questions:
1) You did specify a lineup @ schedules direct (Local Broadcast Listings)?
2) After the scan you do have channels listed in the TV Setup?

Also, since you have scanned your physical channels I
would Allow Channel Matching without Frequency.

Schedules direct only loading 24 hours worth of programming

As usual, thank you for the plugins! I switched to TVServer 3, but I am having what I think is the same problem as Das Hammer, where my guide will only update for like 24 hours for most channels. I have the plugin set up for 13 days of program guide. I know that Schedules direct has more info, the plugin is just not updating it. I was wondering how he "cleared the program table", and how I could do that. I'm presuming that doing that would fix the problem of the downloading. Just as an FYI, I've also cleared the channels, forced update and re-scanned, but it still didn't re-load the program guide. How do I backup/wipe the program table? Thanks!
